(Springfield, IL) -- Illinois' leaders are praising the state's improved business rankings.
Illinois' Governor Pritzker and other officials noted the state's high rankings in CNBC's 2023 Top States for Business report.
According to the annual report, Illinois has been ranked among the top 10 states in four categories of competitiveness and among the top 20 in six categories.
Illinois has been ranked as the 17th best state for business, two spots higher than its rank in 2022.
