The Iowa State Patrol reports three Iowans died and two others were injured in a two vehicle, head on crash northeast of Atlantic on Highway 71 in Cass County.
The Patrol says the drivers, 43-year old Michael Warnaca of Exira, and 46-year old Erick Kerkman of North Liberty, were killed Friday afternoon along with an unidentified female teen from North Liberty, who was a passenger in the Kerkman vehicle.
Two children were hospitalized with injuries.
