(Clive, IA) -- No one hit the Powerball jackpot Monday night, sending it to an estimated $1 billion for the next drawing.
The Iowa Lottery says Iowans bought more than $1.5 million in Powerball tickets for Monday night's drawing.
The Lottery says most people spend about $6, or about three plays per ticket.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot- one in more than 300-million.
