(Iowa City, IA) -- Police in Iowa City say one man connected to a shooting on July 4th is now in custody.
Police say 37 year-old Devwon Bledsoe of Coralville is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder. Investigators say they received reports of the shooting in the 2600 block of Westwinds Drive a little after 1am on July 4th. When officers responded, they found a man suffering from several gunshot wounds. Police say he was taken to an area hospital.
