(Marion, IA) -- The city of Marion will host a National Night Out event next week.
The Marion Police Department, Fire Department, and Recreation Department are partnering on the free community-wide event. It will take place from 5pm-7pm on Tuesday, August 1st at Thomas Park, located at 343 Marion Boulevard Those in attendance will be able to see police and fire equipment and K9 Demonstrations. There will also be games, prizes
National Night Out is a nationwide campaign to build connections between the public and law enforcement officers and first responders.
