(Rock Island, IL) -- Rock Island Police are investigating the death of a a Quad Cities boy found in a trash can. The body of 10 year-old Zion Staples was found at a residence on 20-1/2 Avenue in Rock Island, Illinois on Wednesday, July 26th. Police say the body had been in the trash can since December. 37 year-old Sushi Staples has been charged with concealment of a death, obstruction of justice, and failure to report the death of a child. She's being held on bail ahead of a preliminary hearing on August 15.
