(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Residents can enjoy bourbon and blues this month in Cedar Rapids.
Cedar Ridge and the Linn County Blues Society will host the second annual Bourbon and Blues Festival on August 19th at the McGrath Amphitheater.
Cedar Ridge created Bourbon and Blues in 2010 and hosted the event at its winery and distillery to celebrate its first bourbon whiskey.
The festival was created in 2021 when Cedar Ridge and the Linn County Blues Society partnered together.
The multi-day event will feature live music by award-winning blues artists including Shemekia Copeland, Sugaray Rayford, and Mr. Sipp.
Gates will open at 4 p.m., more information about showtimes can be found on the festivals' website.
Patrons are encouraged to bring their own chair or blanket as the amphitheater only provides a limited number of chairs.
Tickets purchased in advance are $35 or $40 at the gate.
Children 12-years-old and under get in free with the purchase of an adult ticket.
