Norfolk Associate Superintendent Resigns Amid False Expense Report Claims

(Norfolk, NE) -- The associate superintendent for Norfolk Public Schools has resigned after being accused of falsifying documents. State records accuse Bill Robinson of submitting $5,000 in false expenses to obtain more federal grant money. The state auditor's office says the expense request was rejected because it was submitted late. The state auditor calls Robinson's actions criminal. Robinson's resignation is effective August 15th and he'll be on administrative leave until that date.
