(Omaha, NE) -- All 12 of Omaha's spray grounds will reopen Saturday. The decision was made after Mayor Jean Stothert and Metropolitan Utilities District President Mark Doyle discussed the MUD water restrictions that were put in place after the significant water main break at a treatment plant last month. Doyle says the city is able to reopen the spray grounds because of customer compliance with water restrictions and the recent rain we've been getting. If MUD suggests the city reduce water use again the spray grounds could temporarily close again.
