(Ames, IA) -- The city of Ames says a road construction project will cause the closure of 28th Street from Northwestern to Ferndale starting Thursday.
The project will start street reconstruction that will include removal and replacement of the curb as well as the gutter. The city says sidewalks will remain open throughout the construction. The project is expected to be completed in six weeks.
