(Geneseo, IL) -- The city of Geneseo is loosening water restrictions. Residents will drop from a Tier 2 to Tier 1 restriction level beginning today. The city says drought conditions have improved since they put the restrictions in place in July. Completion of maintenance on one of the city's wells has also helped improve water supplies. The biggest change is residents being able to use lawn sprinklers two days a week between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m.
