(Des Moines, IA) -- Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has launched a series of one-on-one interviews of Republican Presidential candidates at the Iowa State Fair. Conservative talk show host Larry Elder was the first candidate to participate.

Saturday, August 12th: Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy (8:30 a.m.), Ambassador Nikki Haley (9:30, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (10:30 a.m.)
Tuesday, August 15th: Former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson (8:30 a.m.), Ryan Binkley (9:30 a.m.), South Carolina Senator Tim Scott (10:30 a.m.)
Friday, August 18th: Businessman Perry Johnson (9:30 a.m.) Will Hurd (10:30 a.m.
The chats will take place at JR's South Pork Ranch, which is near the livestock barns on Rock Island Avenue at Cattle Lane (south of the livestock pavilion).
During this year's Iowa State Fair, many of the Republican candidates and two Democratic candidates (Robert Kennedy Jr, and Marianne Williamson) will also be participating in the Des Moines Register's Political Soapbox, which is located on the Grand Concourse, west of the Administration building.
Voters also have the opportunity to choose their favorite candidate in the Iowa Secretary of State's Straw Poll, in the Varied Industries building. The Secretary of State will release results of the non-scientific poll shortly after the fair concludes.
