(Undated) -- Severe weather will be possible across eastern Iowa tonight, including Cedar Rapids and the Quad Cities. The National Weather Service says isolated to scattered thunderstorms may develop tonight. If they do they could be severe. Storms could have large hail, damaging wind, and frequent lightning. However, widespread rainfall isn't expected because the coverage of storms may remain low. The places with the best chances to see severe weather will be north of Maquoketa toward Dubuque and south and west of Burlington.
