(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha's new professional volleyball team hires a new assistant coach. The team says former Texas A&M women's volleyball coach Laura "Bird" Kuhn will be its first assistant. Kuhn was named SEC Coach of the Year in 2019 and coached the Aggies to a Sweet 16 appearance the same year. She's also spent time as an assistant coach at University of Kansas and University of Miami. The Supernovas plan to hire two more assistant coaches and a technical coordinator in the future. The inaugural Pro Volleyball Federation season starts next year.
