WalletHub says Iowa has had the most damage per capita from natural disasters causing at least $1-billion in damage since 1980. However, Iowa has had just the 21st-most natural disasters causing $1-billion in damage since then. Neighborhing Illinois ranks 18th overall while Nebraska ranks 7th.
