(Des Moines, IA) -- Triple digit heat will be returning to central Iowa soon.
Forecasts are calling for highs right around 100 on Sunday.
Saturday shows highs in the upper 90's as well.
Those hotter temps and dry conditions will continue into the early part of next week.
The last U.S. Drought Monitor showed some easing of drought conditions in Iowa, but substantial rainfall is not anticipated anytime in the next 7 days.
