Des Moines Rhino Celebrates 13th Birthday PHOTOS

(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Blank Park Zoo is celebrating a rhino's 13th birthday. The rhino, named Ayana came to Des Moines from Miami in 2012 and has raised two daughters. Eastern black rhinos are listed as a critically endangered species.

Reiman Gardens in Ames donated the gigantic zucchini to the zoo, so Ayana could enjoy a treat for her birthday.
