(Bettendorf, IA) -- The Bettendorf Fire Department will soon be hosting the second annual Quad Cities Firefighter Chili Cook-Off.
The event takes place Saturday, September 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Isle of Capri Casino's covered parking lot.
It will feature the annual competition between local fire departments to determine who makes the best firehouse chili.
There will be several Quad City public figures to act as 'celebrity judges'.
A $10 entry fee will be required to sample and judge each recipe.
All money raised will go towards the Bettendorf Firefighters Benevolent Fund.
