(Dallas County, IA) -- Divers have pulled a Minburn man's body from a submerged car. The Dallas County Sheriff's Office say a caller reported a speeding car overnight and debris on the east side of the Redfield dam. The caller also told dispatchers they believed the car went into the water. Redfield Fire Department divers recovered the body of 32-year-old Jordan West from the water around 1:30 this (Tuesday) morning. Investigators say it appears the car hit several large boulders near the dam before going into the water.
The body has been taken to the state medical examiner's office.
The Adel Fire Department also assisted with this case.
Redfield is 37-miles west of Des Moines.
