Investigators say Omaha firefighters were sent to 29th and Franklin Streets just after midnight Friday on a report of a house fire, which was quickly brought under control.
No one was in the house at the time, and no injuries were reported.
About an hour before that, firefighters fought a fire in a vacant residence at 46th and Nicholas Streets.
Firefighters faced heavy fire conditions before extinguishing the fire.
No injuries reported in that fire.
