(Davenport, IA) -- A man is dead after a weekend shooting in Davenport.
Davenport Police were called to the 500 block of East 14th Street Sunday morning at around 10:00 a.m. for a report of shots fired.
They found a 44-year-old man with a gunshot wound and sent him to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Officers say an initial investigation found an argument escalated into a shooting.
The victims name has not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
