Waterloo Police Searching for Murder Suspect

(Waterloo, IA) -- The Waterloo Police Department is looking for a murder suspect.

Police have identified 32 year-old Corey Crawley as the suspect in a deadly shooting on September 2nd. Investigators say officers responded to reports of the shooting at E. 4th Street and Mulberry a little before 1pm and found 45 year-old Muharrum Quan Johnson at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound. He later died of his injuries. Crawley was later identified as the suspect and has been charged with 1st Degree Murder and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

There is a $1,500 reward for anyone with information leading to Crawley's arrest.
