(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A Cedar Rapids man is now in custody after allegedly shooting a 41-year-old woman back in August.
Police say 21-year-old Dewayne Hunt shot the woman around 12:30 a.m. August 12th in the 3200 block of Pioneer Avenue SE.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs.
Her injuries are considered to be non-life threatening.
Hunt's court date is at the end of the month, he is facing several charges.
