A charging decision is made in a motor vehicle - bicycle accident in northwest Douglas County earlier this month, which took the life of a cardiologist.
Working with the County Attorney's Office, Douglas County Sheriff's Deputies cite 63-year old Dale Tenecyck of Valley with criminal charges of misdemeanor Motor Vehicle Homicide and Careless Driving.
They say Tenecyck was driving a vehicle that struck the back of a bicycle ridden by Doctor Matthew Latacha.
The mishap was at 252nd and Rainwood Road.
The Doctor was a cardiologist at Methodist Health System.
