(Milan, IL) -- The Quad City Animal Welfare Center is raising money through scrap metal donations as part of their program, "Paws to Recycle."
They have partnered with Cimco Recycling Milan, Inc. which processes metal and electronic waste.
Members donating their scrap metal can ask that their profit be sent to the welfare center.
The scrapyard is located at 1709 1st Avenue E. and is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
On Saturdays, it's from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. only.
