The Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge over the Missouri River between downtown Omaha and the west end of Council Bluffs will be closed starting Monday, October 9th, so a regular maintenance inspection can be carried out.
The Omaha Parks and Public Property Department says the inspection comes along every five years.
The city says the inspection is expected to be completed by Wednesday, October 18th, weather permitting.
