Friday night's football game between Nebraska and Illinois will go on as scheduled.
The official announcement comes from administrators after a fire broke out in a maintenance area at Memorial Stadium on the Illinois campus in Champaign Tuesday night.
There was some smoke damage reported, but the seating area was not impacted.
Kick off for the Big Ten contest is seven Central Time, and the game can be seen on FS1.
