(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Police Department says three men are in custody after a drug related arrest Monday.
Police say the arrest happened in Des Moines' East Village after officers stopped some suspicious activity. Officers performed a traffic stop, and investigators say they eventually found a large quantity of marijuana and an illegally possessed handgun. Police say officers seized the drugs, confiscated the gun, and made three arrests.
The names of the suspects have not yet been released.
