(Franklin County, IA) -- A Hampton man is dead after a crash Wednesday afternoon in Franklin County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened a little after 1:30pm and involved a pickup truck and a semi. 54 year-old Robert Dietz was driving the pickup as it crossed the center line at hit the semi. The ISP says Dietz was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi driver was not hurt.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined and remains under investigation.
