(Waterloo, IA) -- A fire is being investigated after it damaged a garage in Waterloo.
Emergency crews responded to the fire early Sunday at around 5:15 a.m. at a home in the 800 block of Newton Street.
Waterloo Fire Rescue was able to extinguish the fire, and say a motorcycle and other items were destroyed along with the garage.
Three adults and four children were able to escape the home safely.
An electrical mishap is believed to be the cause, however, and investigation is ongoing.
