It occurs to me that, with our kids having unprecedented access to technology, they can't avoid seeing and hearing about the atrocities committed by Hamas against Israel. And, even as I finished the Monday show, it's apparent Israel is preparing to wage a ground war in Gaza. I've already seen body camera footage from troops in the Israeli Defense Force. More disturbing sights and sounds are on the way.
So...how do we talk to our kids about the war? Should we EVEN be talking to them about it AL ALL. Mental health expert Dr. Vince Callahan joined me on the show with some great insight. Here's our conversation:
