(Ankeny, IA) -- The city of Ankeny's Park Maintenance Team is working on winterizing city parks and recreation areas.
As part of the process, splash pads are closed, water fountains will be turned off, and restrooms will be closed and locked. Water bottle filling stations will be shut off for the winter season, and portable restrooms will be removed until spring. Parks will remain open with limited facilities all year from dawn until dusk.
