(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The cause of a house fire in Marion is being investigated.
According to a news release, the Cedar Rapids and Marion Fire Departments responded to the fire Monday at around 8:00 p.m. in the 2700 block of 24th Street.
Upon arrival, crews say they could see smoke and a small fire visible from the house.
No injuries were reported as four residents inside were able to escape after being alerted of the fire from the smoke detectors going off.
Crews say the fire started in the bathroom, although the cause is still unknown.
