(Iowa City, IA) -- A Cedar Rapids man is in handcuffs in connection to a sexual assault.
According to police, 25-year-old Anthony Cotner Jr. is facing a Second-Degree Sexual Abuse charge after sexually assaulting a woman earlier this month in Iowa City.
They say the assault happened on October 7th at around 1:30 a.m. in an alley near South Van Buren Street.
In Wednesday's press release, Iowa City Police applauded the Cedar Rapids Police Department for helping with the investigation.
