(West Des Moines, IA) -- A local brewery is hosting an event Thursday to raise funds for the family of fallen Algona Police Officer Kevin Cram.
Barn Town Brewery in West Des Moines will be offering a specially brewed beer called Hops for Cops at an event starting at 4pm. There will be less than 100 cases of the beer available, and all proceeds will go to Officer Cram's family. Cram was shot and killed in the line of duty on September 13th.
The accused shooter, 43 year-old Kyle Ricke is charged with first degree murder.
