Daveyon T. SHERMAN
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is identifying the man injured in a weekend shooting involving an off-duty Sheriff's deputy near 108th and Maple Street. A press release states that 27-year-old Daveyon T. Sherman is hospitalized in serious but stable condition after sustaining a gunshot wound to his front chest and torso area. Sherman is being held on other outstanding warrants. The deputy has been placed on paid administrative leave pending results of an investigation.
