(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police are releasing more details about a deadly crash Friday, October 27th. Police say 70-year-old Karl Dartez of Carlisle lost control of his pickup truck in the 1700 block of Euclid Avenue at 10:15 p.m. Police say Dartez' truck went off the road, crossing the opposite lanes and then sliding down a nearby embankment.
