(Rock Island, IL) -- Rock Island crews will be relocating a primary water line by draining the Augustana College Slough.
The relocation is scheduled to begin November 11th and will help with future repairs and flooding.
In 2017, the pipe burst, causing the campus to flood, which damaged five buildings and created a sinkhole.
The water line will be set under the Slough Path in January.
