(Grimes, IA) -- The trail along SE 11th Street in Grimes will be closed until spring.
The city of Grimes says the closure is due to a reconstruction project on S James Street and SE 11th street. That project includes a widening of S James Street, a new connection with 11th Street, additional storm sewers, and placing overhead powerlines underground.
