(Des Moines, IA) -- Eight people are arrested and Des Moines police were able to recover guns and drugs late last week.
DMPD says officers responded to reports of drug activity in one of the city's parks. In addition to arresting eight suspects, police recovered three illegally possessed guns, as well as illegal drugs including marijuana, fentanyl and ecstasy. The names of the suspects have not yet been released.
