(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Iowans are voicing their their opposition to proposed rate increases by Alliant Energy before the Iowa Utilities Board. Alliant has proposed an electricity rate increase of 13.4-percent over the next two years, and a gas rate increase of 5-percent next October.
There are more Iowa Utilities Board public meetings scheduled this week. Tonight in Clear Lake, tomorrow in Creston, and online on Thursday.
