(Rock Island, IL) -- A Rock Island woman accused of hiding the death of her son will remain in jail. A Rock Island County judge denied a petition for the pre-trial release of 38 year-old Sushi Staples. Defense lawyers made the request under Illinois' new No-Cash Bail law.
Staples is charged with concealing a death and lying to police after the body of ten-year-old Zion Staples was found hidden in her garage in July.
