(Marion, IA) -- A 15-year-old boy is being charged as an adult after police say he tried to kill another teenager at a park in Marion.
Court records say on August 5th, Antonio Juarez-Luna fired at the victim nearly a dozen times, hitting him four times, after a fight broke out while playing basketball.
The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries from the shooting.
Investigators say after the shooting, Juarez-Luna's mother tried to dispose of the firearm to another minor.
He is facing several charges.
