(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- One person is in custody after a fatal hit and run crash in Cedar Rapids.
The crash was reported in the 1400 block of Memorial Drive SE, and when first responders arrived, they found a man and a woman, both pedestrians, had been hit by a car. Both were taken to an area hospital, and the woman later died of her injuries.
Investigators identified 45 year-old Kyle Kubite as the suspect and took him into custody. He's now facing multiple charges, including vehicular homicide and OWI.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
