The Douglas County Sheriff's Office identifies the person who died in a fire near 249th and West Center Road in Waterloo.
The Sheriff's Office says the investigation into the death of 68-year old Edward S. Safford of Waterloo continues, but no foul play is suspected at this time.
The investigation has been turned over to the Nebraska State Fire Marshal’s office for additional follow-up.
