(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Fire Department will conduct a turkey frying demonstration ahead of Thanksgiving.
The event will be held at the Des Moines Fire Department Administration Building located at 2715 Dean Avenue on Monday, November 20th at 10:30am. The Des Moines Fire Department says Thanksgiving Day often sees a rise in home cooking fires. At the demonstration, firefighters will demonstrate safety tips when it comes to frying a turkey.
