(Des Moines, IA) -- An investigation into a fire Thursday morning on Des Moines east side is underway.
The Des Moines Fire Department says firefighters responded to reports of the fire a little before 8am. Investigators say the fire was in a small brick building next to an abandoned grain elevator. Fire crews were able to quickly put the fire out, and no injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
