(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A Cedar Rapids man is going to prison for 15 years for sending gift cards to minors in exchange for pornography material.
53-year-old Andrew Kyte was sentenced December 1st by United States District Court Judge C.J. Williams, who also ordered Kyte to pay $24,000 dollars in restitution to six minor victims.
Kyte pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of children on June 22nd.
He is currently in the United States Marshal’s custody until his transfer to a federal prison.
Kyte must also serve a 5-year term of supervised release after the prison term.
