Omaha Police say an arrest has been made in connection with a homicide at the "Comfort Inn and Suites" hotel near 70th and Grover Streets, north of I-80.
Investigators say Daniel Nickels was arrested in Missouri.
Police say the victim has been identified as 26-year old Esmeralda Vargas.
Officers on Monday went to investigate a report of a female with a chest wound down inside the hotel.
Omaha Fire Department paramedics arrived and took Ms. Vargas to a hospital where she was declared dead.
The Omaha Police Department is thanking the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department, The Missouri Highway Patrol, the FBI, and ATF for their assistance.
