(Iowa) -- A new study finds Iowa is among the top five states in the nation for increases in mental health problems.
Addiction Treatment Magazine reviewed data from the Centers for Disease Control and found Iowa had the fourth highest increase in mental health problems in all 50 states since 2022. According to the study, 26.38% of Iowa adults say they struggle with mental health, a 0.79% increase compared to last year. Idaho topped the list with 27.61% of adults reporting mental health concerns. That's an increase of 1.79% since 2022.
